David Carradine’s family thinks his death was no accident

David Carradines family thinks his death was no accidentIt looks like the death of David Carradine is going to be in the news for awhile and will never be settled to everyone’s satisfaction.  Very few people are buying into the original suicide theory and now the media and his family seem stuck between a horrible accident or a potential criminal act.

As soon as it was revealed that Carradine was found dead in a Bangkok hotel closet not just with a rope tied around his neck but tied around his genitals too, speculation was that the “Kill Bill” star’s death was a case of accidental auto-erotic asphyxiation, i.e. while masturbating and restricting the flow of oxygen to the brain as a means to intensify orgasm.

In support of that speculation, it was revealed today in a review of divorce court filings conducted by the Web site thesmokinggun, Carradine’s most recent ex-wife once accused him of “deviant sexual behavior which was potentially deadly.”

Marina Anderson also alleged in a sworn declaration that Carradine — best known for the 1970s TV series “Kung Fu” –engaged in an “incestuous relationship with a very close family member,” in the papers filed six years ago.

Meanwhile Carradine’s family does not believe he committed suicide and is troubled by conflicting accounts about the circumstances of his death, Mark Geragos, an attorney for brother Keith Carradine, told CNN’s Larry King late Friday.

“They want an investigation,” Geragos said. “I would think that the people in Bangkok would want to support an investigation and allow the FBI to go over there and assist in the investigation so we can get the answers to the questions.”

Chuck Binder, Carradine’s manager, reportedly does not think David died accidentally, claiming his family has been told Carradine’s hands were tied behind his back when he was found.  Perhaps the family will conduct their own autopsy as David’s body was shipped back to the States Friday evening.
