Kylie Minogue secretly engaged

The creative repast that is Cannes reached its finale on Sunday, and some truly wonderful things were presented and shared. Among those less reported is the story that 80’s pop-diva, Kylie Minogue may confess she’s engaged.
Kylie, 40, and her Spanish friend, Andres Velencoso, are apparently about to announce the engagement, seen by insiders as the natural next step for a pair who have been simply inseparable since they met at a party in Paris last year.
During her recent Cannes visit, Kylie told a few friends at a party that she and Andres, 31, had some plans, and the grapevine was soon alive with the news. Today? Not so much, “He’s lovely. Amazing. I’m a very lucky girl,” was all she would say when quizzed on their link.
Kylie’s most recent romantic connection was French actor, Olivier Martinez, 43. But he broke her heart. And friends say her tryst with the soccer-mad Spaniard is a whole other league, “She feels loved, adored and wanted,” a friend told reporters.
The new couple are reported to already be shopping for a home near his family in Tossa Del Mar, just outside Barcelona. And they’ve both met the parents, who all approve – and that’s always a very good sign.
Kylie could even make her expected announcement a double – Sister Danii, 37, is currently mulling a proposal from sportsman-turned-model, Kris Smith.
Whatever happens, we wish her the best; After surviving Olivier, she surely deserves it.
