A-Rod and Kate Hudson now dating

It seems troubled baseball star, Alex Rodriguez now has a new lady on speed-dial. The Yankees’ main man is said to be very close with Kate Hudson.

The two met at the reopening of the Fontainebleau hotel on Miami Beach in November, and dined together with friends at Lure Fishbar in Manhattan just after New Year’s, followed by drinks at the Gramercy Park. They’ve also been spied outside A-Rod’s expensive apartment on Central Park West more than once.

On Friday, Kate was there leading the cheers at the new Yankee Stadium as her new squeeze helped lay a siege on the Minnesota Twins to complete their new four-game sweep.

But that’s not the juciest part — The couple were later seen at the Mustang Grill on Second Avenue, and according to sources, folks were asked to avoid the back room around 1am, “because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were in there making out.”

Kate, 30, was married to ‘Black Crowes’ frontman Chris Robinson for six years and has a 5-year old son, but the two sadly split in 2006. Before A-Rod she dated several great guys, including Owen Wilson and even Lance Armstrong. A-Rod, meanwhile, is 3-years older than Kate, and his marriage imploded in 2008 when he was caught by the press in a clinch with Madonna.

Our info is solid, but no-one is talking — A-Rod’s rep only offered ‘no comment,’ and Kate’s main publicist just won’t return calls. If they’re working that hard to make this look small, this story could get really good.
