Michael Jackson Might Have to do ‘Jackson 5′ Gig to do Solo Tour

While many are anticipating Michael Jackson’s scheduled comeback and perhaps farewell tour planned to star at London’s O2 Arena starting July 8th, there are many things that may prevent it from ever happening. There are rumors of illness including skin cancer issues. But as we reported here, Michael is reportedly rehearsing now so it seems health issues are not going to stop him.

But what may instead are lawsuits of which there could be many. The reason being it seems that Michael has burned cash like it was firewood in Alaska and since the child molestation charges he was cleared of in 2005, his finances have been a mess. Not to mention MJ hasnot staged a major tour since 1997 or released an album of new material since 2001. He has since allegedly promised himself in some way or another to so many, now that he has an opportunity to make some big money again, everyone wants a piece of the action including his own family.

According to a new report, a secret meeting was held yesterday at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Michael Jackson made it clear he will not perform with Janet and the Jackson 5. Apparently Jacko’s manager signed a deal on his behalf to perform with with the family at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas in 2010. Part of that deal stipulated that he not sign any other concert deal for 18 months. But then MJ went and signed up for his London concerts which are scheduled to begin in July. As TMZ tells it:

The company that organized the family concert — AllGood Entertainment — got Michael, daddy Joe Jackson and several others in a room yesterday at the Bev Hills Hotel. Joe tried to convince Michael that the family tour should go on, but Michael wouldn’t budge because it would have aired on pay-per-view and M.J. said he doesn’t like pay-per-view! The meeting was heated and no one agreed to anything.

I know MJ has some great lawyers but if he doesn’t deliver on some of the promises he has allegedly made, I think his London concerts are going to get blocked in court. He sold his sold and now it’s time to pay up.
