Paula Porizkova confirms America’s Next Top Model firing

After her sudden departure from ANTM, former supermodel Paula Porizkova has finally come clean on the reasons behind this event. She was fired!

News of Paula’s dismissal broke earlier this week when the 44-year old model and actress appeared on Craig Ferguson’s CBS gabber, ‘The Late, Late Show.’ “Do you know why I am in LA?” she asked Craig. “Because I’m looking for a job! I was fired by ANTM – On my birthday!”

Speaking to Access Hollywood yesterday, Paula gave more background, still clearly upset, “I was having a bit of an issue with Tyra being late for every judging,” she explained. “It’s six hours, and I feel like I’m being told my time is not as valuable as hers. The producers said I should shut up and be grateful for the job, and that Tyra was busy.” she recalls. “”I don’t think my hissy-fits about timekeeping went over that well.”

Some have suggested one source of the problem was that Paula was ANTM’s only other female judge? But Paula doesn’t see it that way, “I don’t think in Tyra’s universe that’s even a consideration. I don’t think she cares,” she told the reporters.

The two high-fashion divas seemed so friendly on-set, so Paula was asked if they shared any time when the filming was done? “”All I know of her is literally when we were on set,” the former Estée Lauder icon explained. “That is the only time she would even speak to me.”

A rep for ‘The CW,’ network that carries the show confirmed Paula is ‘no longer with ANTM’ But they wouldn’t use the word, ‘fired.’ Calls made to Tyra’s reps seeking comment have, so far, been met with silence.
