Barbara Streisand’s ex-BF pens tell-all book

BarbaraIf there’s one thing Hollywood doesn’t need, it’s another kiss-and-tell expose. But here comes another — and this time the victim is Barbara.

Ms. Streisand’s ex-boyfriend, Jon Peters, is promising to reveal long-hidden secrets in his upcoming book, ‘Studio Head,’ for which Rupert Murdoch’s ‘Harper Collins’ label just paid him $700,000. In the book, Jon claims Babara was sexually abused by a slick movie mogul and slept with three leading men who co-starred in her movies.

The alleged abuse came from Ray Stark, who produced Barbara’s 1968 smash-hit, ‘Funny Girl,’ and her 1973 duet with Robert Redford, ‘The Way We Were.’ And Jon says that Babs was so scarred by the treatment, she’s still not recovered all these years later.

The 64-year old former hairdresser, turned movie producer, whose credits include Whoopi Goldberg’s 1985 hit, ‘The Color Purple’ and ‘Superman Returns’ from 2006, claims Barbara confided in him she’d had steamy affairs with three of her co-stars while making their movies, Redford was one, and Ryan O’Neil and Kris Kristofferson were also a score. [Her claims, however, are still unconfirmed as reps for the three made no comment.]

For his own part, Mr. Peters, who’s been married four times and now lives in a home worth a cool $38-million, claims to have bedded some of Hollywood’s most desirable ladies, including Sharon Stone, Kim Basinger, Pam Anderson and Salma Hayek, and now modestly claims the new book will also reveal that his skills at seduction have made him a legend.

If the equipment was half the size of the ego, he might be right…but I rather doubt that, don’t you?
