Jon Gosselin had doubts on Kate’s bodyguard

As we told you before, Jon Gosselin’s connection with Deanna Hummel wasn’t the end of the story. But it may be the end of the marriage;

The growing connection between Kate and her bodyguard, Steven Neild is fast becoming the talk of their town, and Jon is getting concerned. In the past year, Kate has made over 50 personal appearances promoting her book and the show, while John watched the kids back at home. And wherever she goes, Steve is right there. Even when she’s back home, he’s right by her side.

Their close interaction has created a void between Jon and Kate, and even her family. The locals are saying Steve’s now her only real friend. And Jon has even threatened he may hire a P.I.

Jon and Kate were apparently in trouble before Steve arrived, but to make matters worse he has a wife of his own. The steel-eyed savior started a torrent of rumors by being seen at Kate’s side with no sign of his ring, and their behavior at book signings has just fanned the flames;

“She was giving him little love pats, totally unlike the slaps she gives Jon.” an employee at one venue told US magazine. “There’s a lot of open affection between them.” she adds. Jon was in the same room the whole time, and sources say he got no lovin’ at all.

While Steve’s wife, Gina – once a close friend of Kate’s – has dismissed talk of affairs as ‘ridiculous,’ it seems Jon’s link with Ms. Hummel is far more than we thought; On March 28 they were spotted at Spring Gruv in Utah, while Kate was on tour. And on April 17 — just a day before they got caught at Legends Bar – the pair were said to be ‘all over each other’ at a ‘Dirty Penny’ performance in Reading, PA. So clearly, Katie’s not playing alone.

Things are now so bad between the pair, a neighbor says Jon sleeps in an apartment above the garage of their $1,1-million home. And their ten-year marriage is apparently done, “Jon says it’s over,” a family friend can confirm. “Kate doesn’t want to work on it, he doesn’t want to work on it.”

If this is the case, we should fear for the kids.
