‘Dancing with the Stars’ Fans Get it Wrong Again!

Once again popularity has defied logic, and not since Marie Osmond, has a popular star gotten so far on the fans vote. While the judges made it clear he wasn’t semi-finals dance material his loyal fans disagreed and voted in hoards to keep rodeo legend Ty Murray onboard.

Instead Rapper Lil Kim was voted off Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday night and while she was not likely the favorite she was definitely finals material.

While Kim and partner Derek Hough did earn the second-lowest scores this week, their combined score of 52 was significantly higher than Ty and Chelsie Hightower’s total of 46.

Lil Kim who was completely gracious about her departure, and is now moving on to other projects, including a book due out later this year called The Price of Loyalty. “It’s about the time when I stayed in prison, the things I learned and went through,” she explained. “You don’t think about things until it happens to you. The book is going to give people who have been on those situations a bright outlook on life.”

Kim said she’s still tinkering around on an album. “I haven’t gotten into the studio with the producers that I really want to be in the studio with,” she explained. “I just want to get the perfect song and maybe in a couple weeks, release something.”

Celebrities Melissa Rycroft and Gilles Marini seem to be the odds on favorites now to win it all while young Olympic Gymnist Champ Shawn Johnson might be a hair behind.
