Mel Gibson’s new lady has scandalous past?

Mel Gibson and his wife have quite enough problems, but Mel’s lady-friend could bring the Hollywood hunk an awful lot more.

Friends of Oksana Grigorieva describe the 39-year old singer as ambitious social climber, with a string of ex-lovers and a preference for older men. She and James Bond star, Timothy Dalton, 63, had a passionate affair, and Oksana even bore him a son. But the two did not marry as she did not approve of the contract involved.

Oksana’s childhood was impoverished. Born in the little-known town of Saransk, in Russia’s industrial heartland, she inherited her love of music from her parents, who both taught the craft. With two failed marriages behind her, she escaped to England at 21, to find a new life. It was while working there as a model that friends say she developed the habit of using men as rungs on her ladder to fortune and fame. And that’s where Mr. Dalton came in.

“She left a young man when she met Timothy Dalton, and then moved up in the celebrity world to Mel Gibson,” says Dame Elisabeth Hoodless, director of ‘Community Service Volunteers’, the UK’s largest volunteer agency, who gave Oksana her first job. “I hired her to look after my elderly parents.” the disgruntled Dame told the Enquirer’s best scribe. “But instead she would make them – two elderly people – run errands for her!”

With a resume speckled with reports of such things, most people would try to reform. Oksana, it seems, has no such ideas. “If she has decided she wants Mel as her husband, she’ll work relentlessly to become the next Mrs. Gibson.” says a friend of the lady. “Oksana is definitely a woman who knows what she wants – and goes after it!”
