Legendary Vegas entertainer Danny Gans dead at 52

Las Vegas performer Danny Gans died in his sleep Friday morning at home in Las Vegas.  His cause of death was not immediately known.

Henderson Police Dept. spokesman Todd Ramussen told E! News that they were called to Gans’ home at 3:45 a.m. by a family member who said he was “having difficulty breathing.”

Gans was a singer, comedian, actor and impressionist who performed for many years at The Mirage before moving to the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas in February and was named “Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year” for 11 consecutive years. He is survived by his wife, Julie, and three children.
