The case of Chris Brown and Rihanna is moving along;.The latest word is that Lawyers are close to agreeing a plea deal for the alleged attack that occurred on February 8th.

The two sides are due to meet in a courtroom tomorrow, and Chris is facing two felony counts; One of ‘Assault likely to cause great bodily injury’ and another of ‘Making criminal threats.’…So you can see why he’s so keen on a deal.

The main purpose of this new court session is to set a date on which Chris must face a preliminary hearing. But he signed a court waiver, so he’s not expected to be there himself. Well-placed sources have told Radar the plea-deal between the Los Angeles DA’s office and Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, is ‘close but not imminent,’ so Chris could be in a lot more trouble before this is all done.

If a deal is not reached in time the case must then go before a Judge. Were that to happen, Chris’s prospects are bleak – the evidence against him is shocking! One crime-scene photo the Judge would review shows Rihanna with her face badly beaten, while another shows Chris’s car freshly sprayed with her blood.

The DA and Geragos are still said to be talking. However this goes, we’ll keep you advised.
