Emma Watson smooches dishy new guy

At the tender age of only 19, Emma Watson is already amassing a list of suitors that would make some of Hollywood more proactive starlets seem chaste. Previously linked to smoldering Italian actor, Roberto Agnillera, her current squeeze is dashing financier, Jay Barrymore, who is eight years her senior. Recent rumors suggested they had split up, but the two lovebirds were spied kissing on the set of the next Potter epic in Scotland by the UK’s Daily Mail, so it seems the flames of their passion are far from suppressed.

Despite the demands of being Hermione, Emma found time last Wednesday for a cozy dinner with her family to celebrate being nineteen. She then departed for Scotland, and Jay joined her on-set so they could snatch a few tender moments between all the takes. The two started dating in March of ’08, and vacationed together on the Spanish isle of Ibiza in July, but Emma’s being very cagey about future plans. On her website, she says her work kept her too busy to think of such things, but her birthday was quite a surprise, “I sooo don’t want to be 19. I can’t believe how much has happened?? I’m really looking forward to a home-cooked dinner with my family.’

Warners, however, seem determined to keep her and the handsome Prince William-clone as far apart as they can. After the Scotland gig, Emma was whisked down to London to shoot the traumatic ‘Cafe attack’ scene amid the bustle and noise of Piccadilly Circus last night. Looking every inch a star in a flowing red dress, Emma, Daniel and 400 extras took over the busy intersection and worked late into the night to get the right shot. Jay, however, was nowhere to be seen.

The team have been working on Harry’s farewell, ‘The Deathly Hallows’ since February, so Emma’s chances for romance have been pretty slim. And she starts College in September, so they don’t show much hope of improvement. Her next Potter film, “The Half-Blood Prince” will bow in July, but if anything happens off-screen with Jay you can be sure we’ll be there to report.
