Paparazzi blamed for Madonna getting injured while riding horseback

Apparently some relentless photographers thought it might be important to snap a photo of Madonna horseback riding in the Hamptons on Saturday. Madge’s rep claims paparazzi jumped out of the bushes to snap Madonna startling the horse and throwing her off. Madge was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island for the weekend when the incident happened and was taken to the hospital but quickly released with “minor injuries” and bruises.

It will be interesting to see if the photos end up getting published somewhere and if they’re credited to an agency given someone is liable to get sued. Madonna, who recently turned 50, was thrown from a horse in England in the summer of 2005. She cracked three ribs and broke her collarbone and a hand in that accident.
