This time poofy haired producing legend Phil Spector has been found guilty of second-degree murder in a Los Angeles court for the 2003 gruesome shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson. This was the for the music producer famed for his work with musical acts such as Tina Turner, the Beatles and the Righteous Brothers,  his second judgment day on the Clarkson case. In 2007, a jury deadlocked 10-2 in favor of convicting Spector.
At the second trial just as at the first, prosecutors said Clarkson fell victim to a man who had a three-decade “history of playing Russian roulette with the lives of women,” especially when he’d been drinking. Spector’s defense weakly contended Clarkson shot herself.

But now, after just 30 hours of deliberation, a second jury has returned a definitive guilty verdict. Spector, 69, the man behind the Beatles’ Let It Be, faces a possible 18 years to life sentence.
