Nadya Suleman wants more government assistance (your money)

Apparently not satisfied with collecting thousands of dollars in donations online – while still claiming welfare – a free nanny service she coldly discards and owning a home worth more than most of us make in three years, Nadya Suleman is now said to be mulling the perks of feeding her brood with more taxpayer dollars.

A government plan called ‘The Women, Infant and Children Program’ gives money to states so low-income women and children under age 5 can afford enough food to avoid malnutrition.  And now Nadya wants to sign up. “If I need to apply for the ‘WIC’ program to provide my babies with formula, then I’m going to,” she told reporters on Wednesday, as related by the Whittier News.

The program’s own web site explains that a family of 15 would need to earn over $112,000 in a six-month period to be excluded from receiving the cash. Should her latest idea come to pass, Octomom and her posse could get formula, cereal, milk, cheese and veggies for free. Suleman, 33, explained that just buying enough formula to feed her new tribe would cost $2,000 a month. “That’s a lot of money for formula,” she said.

I’m so glad she told us — I would never have known.

Only one of her babies is still being cared for at Kaiser Permanente’s Bellflower Center, where the eight were delivered on January 26th. The remainder are housed in their new $565,000 home in La Habra, where they were looked after for free by a team of good Nurses, until Nadya fired them and accused them of spying.

Though no longer on food stamps, the multiplex mom and her children are on Medi-Cal. But Nadya made it clear to reporters that her focus is on feeding her children, not worrying over the public’s reaction to her claiming assistance. “I have to let go of what people think. I can’t live like that,” she said. “But my goal is to get my kids off Medi-Cal,” she explained.

Here is a woman who, yet again, sets herself targets that are stunningly low…then continually fails to live up to them.
