Farrah Fawcett, who is suffering from anal cancer, which has now reportedly spread to her liver, has been released from hospital after being treated for internal bleeding.

Best known for her recurring role in hit 1970s television show “Charlie’s Angels,” Fawcett, 62, was hospitalized last week in what reports said was a fresh setback in her three-year fight with cancer.

Before this most recent trip, Fawcett had documented her medical trips to Germany and shared the footage with entertainment television shows.

She had undergone aggressive chemotherapy in the past and had seen her anal cancer go into remission before returning in May 2007.

Fawcett had been treated for a hematoma from bleeding in a stomach muscle following a surgical procedure the actress underwent in Germany.

Earlier this week, Dr Piro said Fawcett had been “in great shape her whole life” and showed an “incredible resolve and incredible resilience”.
