“CSI: Miami” Star David Caruso Sued By Mother of His Two Children
CSI: Miami over-the-top actor David Caruso is being sued by his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his two children, who claims ‘the star’ was a possessive, jealous boyfriend who was a reluctant father, and emotionally abused her during their relationship.
Liza Marquez is suing Caruso for fraud, breach of their settlement agreement and emotional distress, according to papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Thursday.
Marquez claims in the suit that Caruso, whom she says she met in 2004, promised to provide for her and give her a ring. They began living together in September of that year. and Caruso started to emotionally and mentally abuse her, according to the suit. Among the claims she accuses Curuso of “raising his hand” to her during her second pregnancy and keeping a stash of 1970s porn in his bedroom.
Marquez said the actor asked her to terminate her first pregnancy, falsely accused her of cheating on him with his assistant, and further accused her of wanting to sleep with Billy Dee Williams. Third parties telling Marquez that Caruso described her as mentally ill.
She said that after she gave birth to their second child, daughter Paloma, in October 2007, Caruso broke up with her when she was released from the hospital and served her with a paternity action. Caruso and Marquez also have a 3-year-old son named Marquez Anthony. In August 2008, Caruso agreed to pay Marquez $1 million and $200,000 in attorney’s fees, and give her a home in the San Fernando Valley, but reneged on the deal months later, the suit claims.

Hi – I’m in Australia & I’m a HUGE fan of David Caruso. Watching him on TV I find it very hard to believe that he would do the things this mother of his children is claiming – maybe I’m wrong. However, he just looks such a ‘nice guy’ on the show that I can’t imagine him e.g. asking the woman to get an ‘abortion’. I’m very disappointed to read this stuff & I really hope it’s incorrect.
I’ll be coming to Miami on July 31st & will be there for 3 nights (2 full days) – if David is reading this, I’d give (almost) anything to meet him – I wonder if there is some way I could contact him to ask him if he would agree to meet me. I think I’m probably his biggest fan in OZ & it would be absolutely amazing to have a meeting with him. So if he reads this, or anyone who has contact with him, It would be fantastic to get an email from ‘whoever’ with some info on if it’s possible to meet him. I’m a retired professional dancer who has travelled & worked around the world – I’m not some stupid screaming teenybopper – I’m around David’s age – so maybe that info will help me to arrange a meeting with him – I don’t know, but I hope so. Thanks & regards to however is reading this – I’d appreciate a reply with some info as to my chances. Julia (stage name – PINKY)
