Harry Potter actor busted for growing marijuana at his mother’s house

Police have arrested young actor Jamie Waylett, who plays Draco Malfoy’s side bully Vincent Crabbe in the ‘Harry Potter’ series, after discovering eight bags of marijuana in his car.  The 19-year-old Waylett was stopped by police due to suspicious behavior, The Daily Mail reports.

Police then searched his mother’s home and found “an alleged cannabis farm,” with 10 marijuana plants worth nearly $3,000 being grown hydroponically under special lights. If convicted of cannabis production, the young actor could face as many as 14 years behind bars.

Waylett will be seen in the next ‘Potter’ installment this summer: ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.’
