Jamie Foxx fends off alleged stalker

A man is in custody after seemingly stalking actor Jamie Foxx. In the first incident, Foxx claims he was terrified as the unknown man tried to get into his hotel penthouse in Philadelphia.

Investigators say 49-year-old William Brown first knocked on the door of Foxx’s suite on March 22, claiming to be Beyonce’s music producer. Jamie realized something was wrong as soon as he opened the door, and had to physically struggle to shove the perp out of his room, slamming the door in his face.

The man was ejected again 9 days later, when Foxx’s security team noticed him near the set of the star’s new movie, Law Abiding Citizen, and police were called.

Police say Brown is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail on stalking and other charges, pending a hearing April 7. It’s not clear if he has an attorney.
