Some may think that steamy affairs and risqué memoirs are the exclusive domain of people like Britney; Well, not so much. Proving there’s still many good notes to be played on an old fiddle, former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ alumni Cloris Leachman has now penned a memoir which proves that, even at 82, numerous dark and mysterious secrets still swirl beneath that classy veneer.
In the new book, “Cloris,“ the Oscar-winning Actress, perhaps still best known as the meddling Phyllis alongside Mary Tyler Moore at WJM, recounts steamy tales of amorous assignations with numerous stars, including singer Andy Williams and even the great Marlon Brando; But perhaps clearest of all is her tale of a passionate and unfinished meal with actor, Gene Hackman, “As we moved into the main course, it was as if a cosmic wind enveloped us. We didn’t finish the meal. We went upstairs, flew into bed and made love. It was epic.” she explained to reporters.
With a Golden Globe, 9 Emmy’s – five of them won in five different categories, making her the only Actress in history with this distinction – and even a place in the Miss America pageant already adorning a rich resume, it’s hard to say where this multi-faceted performer will pop out at us next. But of one thing you be sure; the result is sure to be as loved as its source.
