David Letterman marries his longtime girlfriend

Late night talk show legend David Letterman and his longtime girlfriend, Regina Lasko, got married on Thursday.

Dave announced the happy news at the taping of tonight’s “Late Show.”

Letterman, 61, said the couple was married by a Justice of the Peace last Thursday at the Teton County Courthouse in Idaho.

He and Lasko, 49, who is the mother of their 5-year-old son, Harry. have been together since February 1996.

Letterman said he waited so long to get married “so I could get the prenup just right.”

The two met when Lasko worked as a Late Show employee.
