Brad Pitt and Natalie Portman are signed up to star in movie  adaptation of Leanne Shapton’s book with the super long title of ‘Important Artifacts and Personal Property From the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion and Jewelry’. Pitt and Portman will also share producing duties on the project. Pitt will play fictitious photographer Hal Morris and Portman will take on the role of Lenore Doolan, a New York Times food columnist, in the romantic comedy.  Star Wars veteran Portman is reportedly also the front runner to play the female lead in Paramount-Marvel’s Thor movie, to be directed by Kenneth Branagh. Shapton, an illustrator and art director of the Times’ op-ed page, uses items that range from clothes to notes, emails and heirlooms to convey the excitement, hopes, dreams and, ultimately, the heartache of a love affair that runs its course, according to Daily Variety.
