First two Octobabies come home from hospital

Nadya Suleman, who gave birth to octuplets on January 26 this year has finally seen the homecoming of two of her babies. Sons Noah and Isaiah were released from the hospital in Bellflower, California.

Noah and Isaiah were released on the basis of their weight, both weighing over 5 pounds each and thus were deemed fit enough to leave for their new house in La Habra, California.

After several visits to Suleman’s home, Kaiser Permanente officials said they determined that she could provide safe housing, sufficient child care, and the supplies and equipment needed to care for the first two of the octuplet brood.

Suleman revealed last week on Dr. Phil that officials from Kaiser Permanente agreed that her octuplets would be discharged in groups of two one after the other. The home coming of Noah and Isaiah was a mob scene not only by neighbors but reporters gathered outside the house to see them in and gawk.

The 33 year old Suleman, who is now the mother of 14 children has been fortunate to receive charity from the nonprofit child-care organization Angels in Waiting who will be providing 24/7 support for Suleman and her 14 young children.  The remaining six babies continue to progress well at the hospital, Kaiser said. All continue gaining weight as they get formula and breast milk.
