Bristol Palin’s ex B/F still holds on to hope

Contrary to what you may have heard in the media it seems the separation between Alaskan Governor and Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol, 17, and the 19-year old father of her child, Levi Johnston is not as formal and final as we were told, according to the NY Daily News. Interviewed on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America,’ Johnston said the couple had actually separated two weeks ago but suggested the connection may be restored once he’s had time to mature.”We’re both cool with the decision, and we’ll see,” he said.

The couple’s turbulent union and its consequent child became the focus of intense interest by both the public and media during last year’s election campaign, with the announcement of Bristol’s impending motherhood being made just four days after her own Mother made a high-profile debut as the GOP’s Vice Presidential nominee. Johnston currently spends time with his son on a regular basis, but made it clear that he and Bristol would “just remain friends for now.”
