Wedding Bells for Prince William and Kate Middleton this Summer

In news that may send some of you into boundless throes of thwarted depression, it is reported that Britain’s Prince William is soon to be married. Society pages worldwide have been alive with speculation over the tryst between the 26-year old Prince and his long-time girlfriend, Kate Middleton, 27, and according to the highly-reputable Point de Vue France’s leading society magazine, via theUK newspaper, The Daily Mail, their bond is about to be fastened with gold.

The couple were due to go skiing at Christmas, but instead slipped away to Scotland together, where a visit with William’s family at Balmoral Castle could well have occurred. The Prince is believed to have officially proposed during celebrations for Kate’s 27th birthday in January. And the idea he would do this without first getting his Grandma’s permission is wholly absurd.

Should the rumors be true the couple are expected to make their official residence at Harewood House, a glorious stately home nestled in the lush, green hills of Herefordshire, right on the border of Wales, his Father’s beloved Principality. Neither Prince Charles nor his aides have offered any official comment as yet, but Ms. Middleton is known to have spent part of the festive season with her own family in the Caribbean, which could well be a last indulgence in peace and seclusion before she faces the unrelenting attention caused by her apparent alliance.

Both the Queen and her family, and the great British public are said to be open to the idea of Kate as the wife of Britain’s future King. She is already welcomed at Clarence House, Prince Charles’ official London home, and is said to move freely among the inner-most sanctums that comprise the Royal’s daily life. Official news of the union is all that is missing, and that is said to be due within weeks.
