The Tom Cruise – Jimmy Kimmel Commercial that ran during the Academy Awards
Posted on February 23rd, 2009 by SusanOne of the few times I wasn’t channel surfing during the commercial breaks of the 2009 Academy Awards, I was pleasantly surprised to catch Tom Cruise doing a promo for Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The commercial starts off with Tom and Jimmy falling through a window of a burning house. They get up, and Tom says, “Jimmy Kimmel, man you saved my life.”
Tom goes on to say, “I’ll do your show. But please save my cat.” Jimmy runs into the burning house, a big explosion occurs and Tom walks away saying, “I don’t have a cat.”
