Olympic Swimmer Amanda Beard Gets Engaged!

Amanda Beard and her photographer boyfriend of three years, Sasha Brown are engaged.

The Olympic swimmer tells Usmagazine:

“We got engaged on Christmas day. It was really simple. We decided to do Christmas by ourselves in our house in Tuscon. He had a little Tiffany’s box, and it was hidden in this Santa statue that we had — his little sack — and it was perfect.”

Amanda competed in four straight Olympic Games, starting when she was just 14 years old in 1996 through last summer’s Olympics in Beijing. She also has modeled, appearing in Playboy.
The wedding which Amanda plans to keep small is set for the end of April.
