Mickey Rourke and Courtney Love secretly dating?

Old friends and fellow hot messes, Mickey Rourke and Courtney Love apparently share a kinship beyond their shared bad plastic surgery.

The pair have been secretly seeing each other for the past three weeks, according to the Daily Mirror.

The newspaper has reported that Rourke texted Love around the time of the Golden Globes, asking her out on a date.

The celebrity couple both attended the Elle Style awards in North London on Monday, where Rourke picked up the Best Actor award and Love picked up the Elle Woman of the Year accolade.

Love, 44, the widow of Kurt Cobain, jetted in from the US to snatch the award after she was hailed for a year of online rants on her blog.

The two old friends were due to share a hotel suite together after the Elle Style Awards. However, Rourke apparently felt Love’s wrath on the night, after flirting his way through the awards with a host of other women.

Truthfully I am not sure I am buying this alleged coupling and I wouldn’t fix up Courtney with my worst enemy, but Rourke is just crazy and arrogant enough himself to give as good as he gets from this fellow wacko.  So hopefully let the madness begin!
