Paris Hilton asks Paul McCartney to do a duet

Once in a while I have to give in to the urge to tell about Paris Hilton’s foolishness.  Supposedly this time Hilton got into one the Grammy Award afterparties where she proceeded to cornered Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney.

Paris sidled up to the rock n’ roll great and said: “I’d love to do a duet with you,” before saying the unthinkable: “I’m a singer too and have had an album out.”

The LA heirhead’s 2006 debut album, Paris, reached No29 in the UK charts.

One embarrassed onlooker told The UK Sun of the uncomfortable after-party meeting: “Sir Paul was minding his own business when Paris traipsed right up to him and introduced herself.

“He looked bemused, smiled and nodded — then stumbled out that he’d have to check his schedule.

Likely he won’t have time on his schedule for that sort of thing anytime soon.

Paris then complimented the 60-year-old on his hair, saying: “It’s just like in The Beatles. It’s so cute.”
