Rihanna seen Crying in Pain and Anguish at Hospital

 

As we reported earlier, Rihanna appears to have been the victim in Chris Brown’s assault charge and now there’s more details coming out about what happened in the hours after the incident. Prior to the incident there have been reports that the two were involved in a car accident, but I have not been able to find confirmation on this.  Brown who surrendered to police. reportedly posted $50,000 bail and was released.  According to Law enforcement sources Rihanna’s injuries were severe — two “huge contusions” which swelled up on both sides of her forehead, a bloody lip and nose. A RadarOnline.com witness who was in the hospital with Rihanna says the “Umbrella” singer “was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming.”

The source also says that Rihanna’s “staff was also very shaken by what had happened. Later on I saw one of the assistants crying into the shoulder of the security guard. I left at 4pm, happy to get out of the place, something terrible had clearly happened to Rihanna.

Meanwhile an ad partner of Chris Brown – Wrigley announced today they are suspending its ad campaign for Doublemint gum featuring the star. Wrigley said in a statement, “We have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”

Showing a bit more wisdom then Kellogg did with Michael Phelps, Wrigley would not go as far as saying they are dropping him completely, saying Brown should be “afforded the same due process as any citizen.”
