Chris Brown Arrested After Alleged Assault on Rihanna?

Rihanna and Chris Brown, both nominated for awards and scheduled to perform, were no-shows at the 51st Grammy Awards. The Los Angeles Police Department announced that Brown — who is dating Rihanna — was the subject of an investigation into a felony domestic violence battery from around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Chris Brown is being investigated for allegedly assaulting Rihanna after the Clive Davis pre-Grammys tribute event on Saturday night.
Reportedly the two started arguing inside a car. When they both got out of the car that’s when things got violent. Chris allegedly got violent on the woman and then left the scene when the she called the police. When they arrived, the victim was visibly battered and said Chris who was scheduled to be singing “Forever” was the one who laid it down on her.
According to an LAPD report, cops arrived at the scene early Sunday morning – around 12:30 A.M. – after receiving a 911 call reporting a disturbance.
A woman, who insiders name as Rihanna, was found with visible injuries and identified Chris Brown as her attacker. Brown turned himself into police late Sunday and was released after posting bail. Police booked the 19-year-old R&B singer on suspicion of making a criminal threat. My guts telling me if Rihanna was the victim this will be one of those cases where no charges are pressed and the case goes quietly away? Both entertainers have too much at stake to let this drama play out in court.
Chris Brown is presumed innocent until proven guilty. We do not know the facts of the incident. We can only speculate. Even if Chris Brown hit a woman, self -defense may still come into play. Chris Brown’s defenses will have to be considered. As for his image being tarnished, I hope that the public will consider all the facts before jumping to any conclusions regarding him and if applicable, Rihanna. I hope both Chris Brown and the unnamed women will get fair consideration.

Hitting a woman is a very lowly thing to do. whatever rihanna did to set him off like that, chris could of just told her to leave him alone but hitting her is too far! they are both very talented but i feel very bad for rihanna right now. if the stories are true, chris has kinda pissed me off a little by doing that and eventually his lowly ass will get whooped..

We should not judge this young man based on what Rihanna has said. Who says Brown inflicted those injuries? Only Rihanna said that.

Did he beat her in her sleep? I think this young man wanted out and she is crying Wolf to save herself embarassment, no one knows who inflicted those injuries if Brown walked away from the confrontation. He had to walk away because she threw away the keys in the bushes… Why would Rihanna do that if she is scared for her life? Ask yourself some common sense questions don’t get caught up with the cry of injuries. Women inflict pain on themselves at times to create attention and play the victim.
Question: If a man is beating you or has hit you, why would you throw away the keys to the car??? Come on with the Truth Already.
Something about her story sounds manufactured and reaching for Sympathy voted from people who have genuinely been battered…

when I heard this news it really upset me as I love them both but after hearing what be has done it makes me sick I feel for her n hope she’s ok.I just still hope that this ain’t true as I could if never seen him do something like that, it’s really shocking n dissapointing if it’s true.
I doubt Rihanna is crying wolf. Looking at past tabloids on Rihanna, you can obviously tell she’s not a shit disturber or anything. She seemed to be in the heart of her career, with a nomination for the grammy and also a perfect boyfriend to boot- but also underneath that pretty face could be loads of problems with Chris.
I stand behind Rihanna on this. People who support Chris want to believe his star image; perfect man perfect boyfriend but the truth is still there in all these articles; that he assaulted Rihanna. If he didn’t, he could’ve sent out a statement saying that he didn’t. But truth still lays- he did.
There is never a reason to hit a woman. Wither or not she deserved it or not. That still goes for a woman unless it’s self defense. Males are the physically stronger sex- they should never hit a woman because most woman cannot take a blow from a male- especially one like Chris Brown, who work out and has an amazing show of strength.
