Actress Kristy Swanson, walked away from a celebrity competition with more then one price.  Swanson, best known for her role in the 1992 movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer won on ‘Skating With Celebrities’ first season, and now married her pro partner Canadian ice skating champion Lloyd Eisler on Saturday. The couple met while filming the show just three years ago and their harmony on the ice carried into their personal lives.

Swanson told People Magazine that their wedding with 100 family and friends at a California hotel, “was awesome and I feel amazing. Swanson dropped 45 pounds in the run-up to the wedding, using the Medifast Diet and exercise. Swanson said the marriage was meant to represent her and Lloyd’s “coming together as a family,” as she has a 2-year-old son with him and he has also two children from a previous marriage. The couple and their three children all placed individual flowers into a vase during the ceremony as a symbol of becoming one family. “It’s about perfect happiness and unity,” Swanson said.

On the gossip side the couple began dating even though Eisler, 45, was still married at the time and his wife was pregnant. In June 2007, Swanson, 39, was arrested for allegedly assaulting her lover’s ex but the charges were later withdrawn.
