Trading Spaces host Paige Davis gets a new job

Paige Davis who returned to the show that made her famous, Trading Spaces has a new hosting gig to look forward to. Paige has been tapped to emcee “Life for Dummies,” a new lifestyle-oriented syndicated show being developed by A. Smith and Co.

The series, based on Wiley Publishing’s popular “For Dummies” how-to book series, will explore a wide range of topics using a combination of interviews, studio demonstrations, field segments and personal testimonials.
This sounds like the perfect show for Paige and we’re glad to see her career blossoming again.

As we mentioned she came back to TLC’s Trading Spaces last year, but on her terms though. The perky star debuted in 2001 and after much success and fanfare was abruptly fired in 2005 because producers wanted the show to go in a different direction. Which it did, straight down the ratings tubes.
