Joaquin Phoenix crazy like a fox with a plan to prank?
Perhaps Joaquin Phoenix may not be quite as crazy as he seems as of late. His recent career change, from actor to ‘rapper’ may be a hoax, put on in an attempt to punk the world, and give an interesting spin to a documentary by his brother in law.
His move to become a rapper has been recorded by Casey Affleck in a documentary, the first suspicious element to this story. His horrible performance on January 16th, where he fell off of the stage after a horrific show of three ridiculous ‘rap’ songs is another.
But the greatest proof of all are the comments made from anonymous sources close to Phoenix, who say it’s a kind of project, one in which is trying to fool those around him, while maintaining a new character.
Apparently, it’s art.
“It’s an art project for him,” the source said.
“He’s going full out. He probably has told his reps that he’s quit acting. Joaquin is very smart. This is very conscious. He has a huge degree of control.”
I know I, for one, am not ruling out the fact that the dude is crazy. I guess we will have to wait and see where this all is going.
Maybe I’m crazy too, but I like him both ways. His new personality, while anti-social is rebellious and doesn’t take any crap.
Truthfully, it seems like the way he is all the time, only with a less “chipper” view on things.
This man has been through a lot in his life. I can’t speak for him, but I will say that I’m pretty grossed out by people on both sides….
The losers who sit and judge him for his choices & the losers who want to sit and judge him for things they know nothing about.
I say let this man be. If it is a hoax, we all find out sooner or later. If not, than he’s made a choice that he must feel deeply enough is his path.
If you listen to him in earlier comment and listen to old clips of River you can hear the breaking point in both. Whether real or not, Joaquin knows enough of it to be either living it or acting it. It’s kind of humorous in that he really plugs some people good when necessary now, but at the same time gut-wrenching because he seems introverted.
I am so sick of doctors and even his fans running around getting their own images on paper with either the negative or the positive. Let the man live.
I rarely read anything on entertainment. I like a good movie here and there, but am no real fan of anyone persay. Well, in music Waters floats me, but otherwise, nothing particular.
Something drew me into the Phoenix family tonight and I haven’t slept. It’s almost 6am now and I’m personally thinking at this point that since I never do this, I’m up for a reason.
Rambling yes, but I’m a very ill person and take medications. I used to be a drug addict in my tweens. Ya I know the used to crap… For the first time ever, I’m sincerely hoping my medications make me buzzed this morning because I’m so sick of feeling pain.
I say this because people see a certain person on the outside and the person that we shadow to the world. Mine is a working woman, ambitious and fun thing. When I’m home I’m a different person. I’m an artist, a thinker and deeply disturbed by this world and the f-ing people running down other’s lives for their own escape from their mundane crappy lives.
Maybe it’s the hippie thing lol. It’s a part of my life too. We tend to think differently about what we see around us even when playing the chameleon for the world. I tend to think it’s something along these lines. I think he’s disturbed by what he sees and just wants to do his own thing for a bit. I have a feeling he’s stubborn, like me, and probably won’t change his mind and do anything else until he’s damn ready. lol
I say whatever it takes, whether hoax or not…Do your thing Joaquin.
