Geri Halliwell has gotten engaged after a whirlwind romance.
The 36-year-old Spice Girl – who split from London nightclub owner Nick House in December – met her fiance, Fabrizio Politi, a shipping tycoon, at a Florence nightclub also in December, that’s just a few weeks ago.
The wealthy Italian apparently popped the big question over the holidays, as a rep for Geri says Politi “presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season.”
A source revealed that Geri is delighted at how Fabrizio has bonded with her two-year-old daughter, adding: “Geri is desperate for another brother or sister for her daughter, and to have a man in her life who can be a father to them. It feels right and they are both very happy.”
Desperate seems to be the key word here.
