Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford team up in new movie

Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford are set to team up for a new movie and it won’t be ‘Indiana Jones meets The Mummy’. It will be in fact a medical based drama based on an adaptation of Geeta Anand’s book “The Cure.”

The untitled project set for an early April start date, marks the first greenlit production for CBS Films, the feature arm of broadcaster CBS.

Tom Vaughan (“What Happens in Vegas”) is directing and Fraser will play John Crowley, the father of two children who were diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder for which he’s told there is no cure. He  desperately seeks out an experimental and sometimes irascible doctor played by Harrison Ford, who works to find a way to save the children’s lives. The roles of Fraser’s wife and kids have not yet been cast.
