Drew Peterson’s girlfriend moves in with him – Good luck with that!

Going off the gossip trail for a bit, this story made me shake my head, as it reminds me of the groupies that worship serial killers. A 23-year-old mother of two, Christina Raines, has moved in with murder suspect Drew Peterson. Peterson is the 55-year-old former police sergeant who is the sole suspect in the disappearance of his current wife, Stacy. Peterson’s third wife, Kathleen Savio, was also was found dead in an empty bathtub in her home in 2004. Authorities are also re-examining that death. The cases have captured the media spotlight. Peterson of course has denied involvement in both cases.
Peterson who has been married four times, each to women significantly younger then himself, declined to comment Monday on his new living arrangement but did joke that Raines “won the lottery,” a Drew lottery.” Friends and family members of Christina are distraught at the news. Joe Raines, the uncle of Christina said: “It’s unbelievable,”I don’t get it, but what are you going do? She’s an adult.”
Christina’s father, Ernie Raines, filed several reports with the Bolingbrook Police Department over the weekend requesting well-being checks on his daughter, and to also document that his daughter had moved in with Peterson. That’s about all the family can do for Christina now.
