Golfer Annika Sorenstam marries longtime boyfriend

Retired Swedish golf star Annika Sorenstam has married her boyfriend of three years, Mike McGee on Saturday  in Orlando, Florida. About 125 guests attended the afternoon ceremony and evening reception at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club. Anika ended her Hall of Fame career just four weeks ago, during which time she won 72 times on the LPGA tour.

Conveniently, Anika’s new husband Mike McGee is the managing director for the ANNIKA business brand, which means they’ll be spending lots of time together. Sorenstam hinted at wanting to devote more time to her growing business ventures and perhaps start a family back in May. She has a foundation, a fragrance line, a clothing line and is in designing her sixth golf course. She also launching a wine label and will host golf tournaments to stay busy.
