Josh Brolin Hurls Speaks His Mind At Award Show – Disturbing video of his summer arrest

Truly, there is nothing better then a celebrity who knows how to speak his mind, and does it with uninhibited candor, especially when he does it at an awards show. Which is why I am giving my weekly props to the incredible Josh Brolin for…hell, just for being himself.
The outstanding Milk actor was at the New York Film Critics Awards last night, where he won Best Supporting Actor, and he had a few things to say about his fellow nominees and costars. My favorite moment came directly after Brolin was introduced by Sean Penn.
“Quite an actor, Sean Penn. And not an a**hole like Russell Crowe.” After a short pause, Brolin took a moment to reiterate. “Like Russell Crowe.”
The award-winner also had a few things to say Bran Brantley, a critic who gave some rather harsh review’s of Brolin’s performance in ‘True West’, a play by Sam Shepherd.
“I hate that motherf**ker-, and I don’t think he’s a good writer.”
His loss, Josh. His loss.
On another topic, TMZ has released a very disturbing video here of Josh Brolin’s arrest outside of a Shreveport bar last summer, along with his “W” costar Jeffrey Wright.
The shaky camera work makes it difficult to watch, but what’s been captured is quite intense. In the video, viewers see Brolin and Wright standing hugging as they are sprayed with pepper spray and then separated by cops. in protest. The sight of the teary-eyed Brolin and Wright embracing each other before being cuffed is quite the statement about sticking with your friend when all hell breaks loose. Brolin is made to kneel and is handcuffed while Wright gets laid out on the street and repeatedly tasered, as the cellphone camerawoman screams
Other video from patrol cars was also recorded by cop cars last July but not released.
Coinciding with the video’s release, today charges in Shreveport, Louisiana against Brolin stemming from the brawl are being dropped.
