New Details Leaked in Travolta Tragedy as Second Pathologist Called in To Investigate

The Bahamas’ health minister, Dr. Hubert Minnis, told reporters Saturday that he was planning on using two pathologists for the autopsy of John Travolta’s teenage son, Jett.
The measure is to ensure that a thorough examination is done into the tragedy, and to make sure that nothing at all will be missed.
The second pathologist, a US-certified forensic doctor, will be flown in from Nassau on Monday to help with the autopsy. Dr. Hubert Minnis decided to use a second specialist to guarantee a thorough assessment of what might have caused Jett Travolta’s death. Minnis himself was an obstetrician for Anna Nicole Smith, the former Playboy playmate who died from an accidental drug overdose and is buried in the Bahamas alongside her son.
Travolta hopes to have his son immediately sent to Florida afterward for funeral proceedings. While the exact details of Jett’s death have not been officially released, a Bahamas’ police officer, speaking under the assurance of anonymity, told press that the 16-year-old had gone into a seizure as part of a previously known condition, and hit his head on the side of the bathtub.
Meanwhile Travolta’s lawyers, Michael Ossi and Michael McDermott apparently leaked to TMZ that Jett suffered grand mal seizures that were “frequent and extremely serious,” for years. They were so bad, “each seizure was like a death,” with Jett losing consciousness and convulsing.
Jett reportedly took a drug called Depokate for “several years,” reducing his seizures from an average of every four days, to approximately once every three weeks. But the drug eventually lost its effectiveness, according to the lawyers. They say “it began to cause serious physical damage” including damage to Jett’s liver. And, Jett went back to having at least one seizure every four days. So Travolta and Preston, after consulting neurosurgeons, stopped administering the drug.
Regardless of this report because Travolta is a practicing Scientologist count on new rumors and stories blaming the actor for withholding medical treatment.
