Michael Pitt Set For New Scorsese HBO Drama
It’s been awhile since we have been able to see Michael Pitt really stretch his wings on the small screen, but it looks like that is about to change.
Pitt is in the final negotiations to participate in Martin Scorsese’s new HBO drama, ‘Boardwalk Empire’, alongside the legendary Steve Buscemi.
‘Boardwalk Empire’, a novel written by Terrence Winter, is the story of a businessman (Buscemi) running an illicit alcohol ring during the prohibition in the 1920′s. One of his small time lackeys (Pitt), a young WWI Veteran, is eager to make it into his inner circle, and become a more successful member of the faction.
Scottish actress Kelly MacdonaldĂ‚Â of “Trainspotting” fame has already been cast as a smart Irish immigrant who married the wrong man to get out of her parents’ house.
Pitt, who had a recurring role on “Dawson’s Creek,” also starred in the feature films “The Dreamers” and “Last Days.”
No date has been set for it’s release.
Hey guys this is Leslie its been forever since I have been on here. Last time I was on here I was talking about being in the movie Nailed. It is coming out soon it could be this January or next they haven’t gave us the date yet but it will be some time in 2009. I was asked to tell I little about the movie and how I got to be in it. As some of yall might not know I am young I am 12yrs old. I got to try out by going to open call at the mall. So they called me and said they wanted me to be in it. So I said yes. I got to miss tons of school. It was filmed in South Carolina. The crew there was awesome. The movie is about a small town girl who gets a nail stuck in her head she goes crazy and is trying to get health care. But did she? Well you have to see it. All the girl scoutes in the movie tryto help her get health care. This movies is a great movie and will be the best you will ever see. So go see it!! I will be in more movies. When I get older im movieing to LA to start acting full time. Hope you will get to see the movie and enjoy it! Thank you and have a great 2009!!
