Report: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to split on Valentine’s Day?

We reported less then a couple weeks ago here, that Jennifer Lopez’s third marriage to Marc Anthony might be on shaky ground. While we believe there has been some disharmony in the relationship it’s not the same situation as Madonna and Guy Ritchie where despite the denials we were almost certain a divorce was forthcoming.

We wanted to put that in perspective before mentioning a new report that predicts the pair will split shortly after Valentine’s Day. the quite reputable New York Daily News has reported a split announcement is coming according to a source. Their source tells the newspaper,

“Marc and Jennifer are planning on announcing their divorce right after Marc’s show at Madison Square Garden on February 14. Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet. Things haven’t been right for a while now, and they thought it would be a bittersweet farewell… They’re definitely planning a clean break in February.”

However, a representative for Anthony insists “none of the rumors are true,” which honestly doesn’t mean much these days. Even so the Valentine’s Day dramatic farewell sounds a bit farfetched, don’t you think?
