Tara Reid checks into rehab for the holidays

Reputed party-animal Tara Reid has made her way into rehab.  The actress’s spokesperson contacted People Magazine to let the proverbial cat out of the bag. The rep would not reveal exactly what Reid, 33, is being treated for. A friend of the troubled now stick thin actress says she checked herself into Promises Treatment Center (big bucks facility with alumni including Britney and Lindsay) on Tuesday. Tara became famous from her 1999 role in “American Pie” and  since then, she’s been better known for her party girl reputation and who she’s dating (including Tom Brady and Carson Daly) than for her acting roles. This is probably long overdue, and who knows it might get her some new opportunities to work if she can get clean and sober.
