Miley Cyrus to join the LA freeway frays

LA driving has always been dicey and now another teen star will be heading out into it’s crowded streets. Miley Cyrus passed her California learner’s permit exam on Wednesday. Finally legally able to get behind the wheel, Miley Cyrus was spotted in the driver’s seat showing off her learners permit, as she and her mom Leticia “Tish” Cyrus headed out for a cruise in Los Angeles.

Cyrus can’t take the wheel unless accompanied by a 25-year old + licensed driver, ruling out joyriding with her too-old-to-be-dating but not-old-enough-to-drive-with 20-year old boyfriend, model Justin Gaston!  It’s an understatement that Miley will have plenty of money to buy that first car. And her popularity doesn’t seem to be ebbing.

Miley’ was recently named among the top of America’s top pop culture obsessions, with some 223,139 “Hannah Montana” related-items, ranging from buttons, to clothes and posters, exchanging hands on ebay during the year. Compare that to ever popular Britney Spears, who had 32,966 related items sold.
