Toni Braxton Skipped “Dancing with the Stars” Finale Over Cancer Scare

Singer Toni Braxton was noticeably absent from the finale of “Dancing with the Stars” and it wasn’t sour grapes or anything like that. has reportedly been hit with another major health scare just seven months after heart problems forced her to cancel a string of Las Vegas shows – the singer has had a mysterious lump removed from her breast.

Braxton discovered the lump just before starting on Dancing With The Stars, but waited until she was eliminated from the contest to have it removed. Braxton was still recovering from the surgery when last month’s finale rolled around, so she didn’t perform.

Toni been through a lot for a seemingly vibrant 40 year old. Just before starting the demanding Dancing with the Stars competition, Toni came down with a new heart problem: microvascular angina. And it wasn’t her first brush with heart disease. Last year, Braxton revealed her 2004 brush with pericarditis an inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart.  We hope all this is behind her soon and she can get back to being a terrific entertainer.
