Actor Vinnie Jones injured in bar brawl

English actor Vinnie Jones a former footballer was treated in a hospital and reportedly arrested after being hit with a beer mug in a bar brawl.
The actor was taken to the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Friday suffering from injuries to his head and nose, medical staff said.
A hospital spokeswoman said: “He was brought in for observation. He had a laceration of the head and a nasal injury. He has since been discharged.”
Jones a Hollywood tough guy was injured when a fight broke out in Wiley’s Tavern late on Thursday night, the Sioux Falls ArgusLeader reported.
Juan Barrera told the newspaper that the actor tried to join him and his friends in a pool game but got angry when one of the men asked about his role in X-Men 3 (he played a supervillian known as the Juggernaut).
He said: “He got offended by that, and he started pushing my other friends around. He said he’s been in so many other movies or whatever.”
Mr Barrera told the newspaper that one of the men smashed Jones in the face with a beer glass in self-defense.
A senior police officer at Minnehaha County Jail said he could not confirm reports that Jones and the other man involved in the fight had both been arrested. Word though is Jones was arrested and booked for misdemeanor simple assault and was released on bail on Friday morning. While the other man in the Thursday night fight faces felony aggravated assault charges.
