Kate Hudson once a stalker just desperate these days?

I just saw this headline that “Kate Hudson used to be a stalker”. I didn’t think much about it at first but the “used to be” part kind of seemed contradictory so I read on.
Apparently the often in love actress – who has a four-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson – admits she went through a phase of obsessiveness:
She tells Look magazine: “I don’t like being smothered. If a guy is calling me all the time, it just seems so desperate. Although I did turn into a stalker once.
“I was completely crazy about this one guy and used to drive by his house and get my friends to call me if they saw him in a restaurant so I could show up. He wasn’t stupid, though – I think I made him really nervous!”
Maybe it’s just me? But I think of Kate as one of the most desparate man-hungry women in Hollywood. It seems like every guy she falls for think Lance Armstrong and Owen Wilson as examples, she instantly attaches to at the hip. It was rumored at the time of her last breakup that Lance was feeling ‘’smothered” by Kate. According to an Armstrong associate the cycling legend felt Hudson was ”just too needy,” and was coming on ”too strong, too fast … sensing Kate was way too desperate, a woman who clearly can’t be on her own without a man in her life at all times.”
Anyway this new report about Kate admitting she was ‘once a stalker’ doesn’t come as much of a surprise to me.
