Rashida Jones now officially signed on for new Office spinoff with Amy Poehler

Rashida Jones has officially signed on to star in the new Office spinoff according to the NY Post. She was just hired by that show’s creators and NBC to star in the new show that will be feature “Saturday Night Live” alumna Amy Poehler. Aziz Ansari is also slated to be onboard. Rumors that Rashida Jones might be a part of the new untitled spinoff have been circulating for a couple of weeks. Jones, who had a role on “The Office” for a year, Jwas sorely missed last season after she left “The Office,” where she played a romantic interest of John Krasinski’s character. She and Krasinski started dating in real life after meeting on the set.
