Glimpes of Britney Spears’ documentary show her struggling with her demons

The UK Sun got a longer look at the Britney Spears documentary airing November 30th on MTV, and what was revealed casts some doubts about how well adjusted and happy she is right now. Previously the first looks at the show, showed Britney saying, “what the hell was I thinking,” which I think relieved many people to think ‘good she gets it’.
MTV filmed the series with Spears after a year in which she got divorced, acted out in public, shaved her head and went to a psychiatric ward. After confinement and on going treatment for Bipolar Disorder she is now able to see her two sons again, but ex-husband Kevin Federline has custody and she is still in the care of her father Jamie.
But all may not be as it seems as according to the new glimpse at the documentary she allegedly tearfully admits:
“There’s no excitement, there’s no passion.
“I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out.
“But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day.”…
She also says: “I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening.
“If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time.
“I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free.”
In truth though we don’t know the complete context, but it doesn’t surprise me to hear that Britney candidly said these things. She partly started down the wrong path in her life because she strongly rebelled from the control of her parents in the first place and surrounded herself with all the wrong people. Besides the confinements that she had to deal with during her recovery, there is also the realities of the meds she will take likely the rest of her life to keep the Bipolar Disorder in check. The meds have their side effects and she will not feel the highs she experienced during the manic phases of her illness. Britney’s life and career hinge on her successfully battling her demons, and not abandoning the meds that keep her from going back to her helter skelter life. It’s a fragile existence we hope she’s able to maintain.
