‘Pregnant Man’ Thomas Beatie expecting second child
Thomas Beatie a transgender, dubbed the “pregnant man” after giving birth to a daughter earlier this year, is pregnant again with his second child. In the spring, Thomas Beatie wrote an article in the national gay magazine ‘The Advocate’, revealing that he was legally male and that he was pregnant and the news spread like wildfire across the internet. Beatie, welcomed a baby girl, Susan, June 29.
Beatie who is in his first trimester, and his wife, Nancy, hadn’t spoken to the media since until they sat down last month with Barbara Walters. Beatie revealed to Walters he did not go back on the male hormone testosterone after Susan’s birth so he could have another baby.
“I feel good,” he said. “I had my checkups with my hormone level, as far as the HCG. And everything is right on track.” He says the baby is due June 12.
Thomas Beatie also spoke to Walters about Susan’s birth, which was not via Caesarean section. He was in labor for 40 hours; Nancy Beatie cut the umbilical cord.
Barbara Walter’s show “What Is a Man, What Is a Woman? Journey of a Pregnant Man” will be on ABC Friday at 10 p.m. ET.
For one, this is not a “man”…It’s a woman who kept her female organs and transformed out external parts to look like a man. Remove those ovaries and let’s see her have a baby. The media is a JOKE! Stop calling this person a “man”. She was born a woman and is a woman. She’s living in a state of confusion, and the poor children. The crazy ass woman that is with her, not sure what she want’s…so they are lesbians, but one want to look like a man and the other want a man but just didn’t want a man with a penis….that’s CONFUSION.
